Sunday Eucharist
10:00am for both St. Luke's in Fort Yates and St. James' in Cannon Ball. Eucharist at Church of the Cross in Selfridge is at 12:00pm. The last Sunday of the month is with all three congregations at St. Luke's with a potluck following. All baptized people, regardless of church affiliation are welcome to have Eucharist here. Stay for fellowship afterwards and enjoy coffee, juice, cookies and sometimes a meal. Anyone is welcome to bring items to share with the rest of the family of Christ.
Soup Kitchen
Join us every Wednesday at 11:30-12:30 for a free meal made with love from servant members of St. Luke's Episcopal Church and St. Peter's Catholic Church during the school year. Lynn's Closet will be open inside the church if you are in need of clothing and other household items free of charge.
Standing Rock Native WYLD Life & Young Life
We will be meeting together every Wednesday from 6-8pm until the end of the school year.
Standing Rock Vestry
Meets every 2nd Monday of the month
Hospital Visitation
If you or a loved one is in the hospital and want a visit, please call Canon John or Deacon Sloane Floberg at 222-0041 and we will do our best to coordinate a visit. HIPPA regulations prohibit us from knowing who is at the hospital unless the patient wants a visit and/or registers as EPISCOPAL.
Parish Hall Rental
If you are in need of a place to entertain the family or for a business gathering, please contact Canon John Floberg at 891-2911 or Deacon Delores Walters at 854-2326. There is a deposit involved and since we cannot afford a janitor, you will need to make sure the place is cleaned up after your activity.
Baptism or Confirmation
We'd love to be a part of your own or your children's baptism or confirmation service. Please contact Canon John to schedule a time for class. We ask that you are a communicant in good standing and that you are attending St. Luke's, St. James or Church of the Cross on a regular basis prior to the actual service.
Funerals
We also want to be a part of your sad times as well. As a family of Christ, we strive to support one another through the many seasons of life. When a loved one has passed away, please let Canon John know as soon as possible so that he and the clergy team can assist you in any way possible. When planning for a funeral it is very nice to know as soon as possible what dates you are thinking so we can see if it may interfere with other items that may be scheduled for that day as well.
